We're back once again at Taboo Palm Beach - to start off the Club year and catch up with our accomplished Columbia Alumni in a lively evening of conversation and fun. We have a private area all to ourselves, and Taboo has graciously decided to provide some lite bites and hors d'oeuvres for our enjoyment. In response to people's requests last year, we have included one drink ticket, good for one wine or beer for the event. Please come meet your fellow club members!
Tickets are $15, $18 at the door.
While we are at it, over the years your current board has dwindled - some of us have retired, some of us have moved away, and we are now recruiting interested volunteers to be part of the board. We always need accounting skills and event planning skills! Join the board and be part of making the Palm Beach Columbia Alumni Community a vibrant and active one!
TICKETING FOR THIS EVENT IS CLOSED! WE'LL SEE YOU AT THE POLO!
Annual Meeting and 3rd Annual Polo Brunch
Join the Columbia University Club of the Palm Beaches for our signature event and a Palm Beach Club tradition. A brief club meeting is followed by a fabulous afternoon of feasting, imbibing, and spectating - polo - the sport of kings!
Mix and mingle with your fellow club members and join us for our annual meeting as we introduce your board and let you know about upcoming club events. Receive a glass of champagne and a spot at the premiere VIP tables in the polo pavilion. Passed hors d’oeuvres are followed by an extravagant brunch, with chef stations and an extensive seasonal menu.
Want to know more? See what you will be experiencing HERE! What is served? Here's the Buffet! Where will you sit? Here's where you will be seated. Pictures of previous year's events are here.
Once the match begins, continue to enjoy the buffet, and use one of your two additional drink tickets as you watch an international circuit polo match. The horses will thunder by your seats - bring your cameras! At half time, participate in the stomping of the divots, and then return for the second half and dessert. We guarantee you will be entertained!
Children are welcome at this family friendly event. We think they’ll enjoy it just as much as you will.

New Year's Reception for Alumni and Students
We're having a post-holiday celebration! This will not only be be a great opportunity for us to catch up with each other and make new friends, but for alumni and students to interact and share experiences.
A parent of a current Columbia student has graciously opened her fabulous waterfront West Palm Beach home to us so that we can mix and mingle in comfort. We will be serving hors d'oeuvres, readily available libations (for the alumni - students under 21 will unfortunately have to stick to soft drinks!!!) and good company in the Palm Beach/West Palm region.
Current Columbia students (graduate and undergraduate) are FREE! [However, students must email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to register]
All others (Alumni and Parents) : $20 members / $25 non-members online only
Remember - to avoid disappointment and high credit card charges, only indicate the NUMBER of tickets you wish to purchase to the event, not the dollar amount!
When: Wednesday January 6th 2016 6:30pm-9:00pm
Location : Private residence in West Palm Beach along Flagler, address disclosed with ticket purchase.
