Grey Mockingbird Community Garden

Columbia Community Outreach

As part of Columbia’s global day of outreach, the Columbia University Club of the Palm Beaches is partnering with the Gray Mockingbird Community Garden. The Gray Mockingbird community garden is planted on land donated by the Scottish Rite, teaches sustainability and resiliency. A portion of the food farmed is donated to feed local community members in need of access to healthy, nutritious, farm-fresh foods.

Come in the morning when Director Brian Kirsch will tell us about the history of the garden and role it plays in the community's food system, and give us a brief tour. Then we’ll all get to work!

Do make sure to bring your outside clothes, a hat, glasses, and sunscreen! Gardening gloves if you have them. Comfortable shoes a must!
